This was a fun project to try to find flora and fauna... I had a hard time trying to find flora in the middle of winter, so I made sure I found new photos for my fauna, and used old ones of flora. :) I've used my pet guinea pigs as photo subjects before, so it was fun to try to get new angles and new shots of them! It was interesting trying to use a quick enough shutter speed to catch them, while dealing with a lack of light. I especially love the photo of the grass and stream from the Biology cabin from this fall... the shutter speed was fast enough to freeze the rich blues of the stream, which contrasts so well with the gorgeous green of the grass.

  1. I like your guinea pigs. The close up is a good angle on the shot. I also really like the flora shot it is really pretty!

  4. You did a really good job on all of these pictures. The first one with Hershey in front with Nestle in the blurred background is awesome!

  5. How did you solve your quick shot, low light prob? The first little guy nearly posed for you. LOVE HIM. The warmed, angled flora shot has me ready to swim. You know how to put mood in a photo.
